The MV9 offers both commercial and private vehicle operators an effective risk reducing means to aid in the investigation process, decrease collateral damages associated with car accidents, deter crime inside the vehicle, and overall enhance the safety on the road. It is also a great tool when your kids are learning to drive or if you want to monitor their driving habits.
MV9, an in-vehicle EDR (Event Data Recorder), makes constant recordings of video footage and audio using a 'first-in' 'first-out' method. In the event of an accident or triggered alarm recording, the MV9 'flags' these files so they do not delete when the SD card becomes full. When the MV9 is triggered, the recording begins up to 3 minutes prior the trigger activation (adjustable). These videos may later be viewed for surveillance purposes or evidence in an investigation, providing concrete evidence for clarifying responsibility. The MV9 provides an easy user interface to extract the data from the unit and transfer to a computer. Our unique software makes it effortless to view and save video files to your PC, with the push of a button you can convert videos to AVI format for easy playback in almost any media player.
- Continuous Recording
MV9 provides dual channel simultaneous recording at a maximum speed of 16 fps (front) and 6 fps (rear) with a 120 degree wide camera angle. When the SD card gets full it overwrites new data over the oldest data first.
- Event Recording & Manual Recording
As vehicles experience hard breaking, sudden acceleration, or collisions, our internal 3D gravity sensor catches it and triggers event recordings. It can store up 50 event recording files and it overwrites automatically when event data is full. Users also can force to trigger sensor recordings via the manual recording button and it can store another 20 manual recording files.
- Parking Mode Recording
As for vehicle surveillance while in park, user can set parking mode recording. When parking mode is triggered, it lowers recording speed for longer recording time. To use parking mode recording, M9 power should be connected directly to the car battery. Please be aware that long usage of parking mode may kill the vehicle battery. This is not a feature to use if you are in the long-term parking lot of an airport or parking garage.
